Not just the L.A. press, for the Los Angeles Free Press, the original counter-culture newspaper, once sued by the U.S. government for £25 million for publishing the names and addresses of over a thousand drug enforcement agents in the 60s. I needed somewhere for Bernice to be freelancing for and that seemed like the kind of gig she'd take.
