> > I did notice Lisa's careful phrasing - that they've gone to where Lara can't find them. That implies she may be able to send someone else to find them. So maybe the hints Lisa gave her have something to do with that path.
>
> Possibly.

Lisa practically has to speak like that to avoid losing her office.

> > Why would Lisa give such a specific hint? Because it's possible if Lara does go to find them herself, she may become trapped there too, making that rescue useless (that comment about Grace noticing how weak the sun is might be a clue - it might be a zone so weak in energy that Lara can't draw enough to get out).
>
> Nice catch on the relevance of the sun.

There are other thoughts I had about that too. Like weak sun means everyone has been sent there to slowly die.

> > At some point someone will have to ask the Void Scholar why the universe needs saving from the Lair Legion. You know who that might be. And he's going to kick himself when he realizes that person possibly could have saved the universe for him without all this trouble simply by talking to the right people.
>
> We'll certainly get to that.

Short-sightedness has its price.

> > There may be a tie-in in this involving the Psychic Samurai. The theme of it is this phrase: The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
>
> She has plenty of factions to choose from.

Chiaki creates her own factions. If she works with someone it's usually because she chose them, not the other way around.

> As a matter or note, I was assuming the Brothers of the Blackadder is a White supremacist group with a fanatical passion for genetic purity (which means they don't much like mutates or superheroes either). I was thinking of the Avengers' Sons of the Serpent.
>
> They certainly wouldn't get on with Chiaki.

Noted...but Chiaki will think bigger. Partly because she knows if she thinks too small, she'll have a bunch of meta-humans from another group after her.
