> I'm confused about that last part...is Doorman in jail or watching Hatman in jail?
Hatman's in jail on the SPUD helicarrier. Dooman's loose on the SPUD helicarrier thinking his big chance has finally come round.
> Lara's scene brings to mind something about her past that she's hinted at a few times but never really talked about much. You might recognize some parts of the back story.
Noted.
> The point of that whole background story is that the Manga Shoggoth's timing couldn't be better. Presented with a disheveled and ranting Chronicler who was more than likely insane, asserting his superiority and making threats? The thought of being forced to kill him probably entered Lara's mind. Maybe being assaulted by the Chronicler convinced her of it, too. The main reason she might hesitate to do so is even after reading up on Parodyverse history she's not sure who the new Chronicler would be, and it could be someone worse.
I wanted to write the scene so that somebody could take Lara's viewpoint and she'd be the hero, or could take Chronicler's viewpoint and he'd be the hero. I don't think Lara could kill the Chronicler though, especially not in his stornghold, without some kind of extraordinary strategem.
> On that note, is the next part going to resolve that scene or are you waiting for me to add something?
I got Lara into this so I'll get her out of it. I've also got some input from poster-Shoggoth about what his character would do, so I'll work that in next time too.
Things you could follow up if you chose include the interview with Anna and Liu Xi's feelings about fleeing the scene and maybe somehow finding out that Hatty's now in custody. Next time will also cover Yuki and Glory finding something rather suspicious on the island.
