The govts should know, yeah. They're the ones whose job it is to determine threats to national security and how to approach dealing with them, with input from the heroes of course.

I don't see much heroism in the Legion fighting to make sure their world is the center of the universe. That's a bit too meta for me.

I do find it interesting that the responses we've seen have been very authoritarian and ani-democratic. The Legion is becoming more and more crypto-fascist with each passing day....
