Subj: It can't all be quippy banter and bedroom scenes. Some of our readership actually like a little tension and plotting.Posted: Sun Mar 16, 2008 at 07:41:40 pm EDT

> More sinister doings in the night, I see. I'm not quite sure what to make of the psychic woman quite yet... Certainly, I think it would be good to get her to the Emir, but I'm not exactly sure what her coming portends. Still, what's a little religious shake up when every other aspect of your society is being reevalutated anyway?

Before finishing covering life on Caph I wanted to show some of the less exalted people - hence the drudges - and also to illustrate why the exiles were so terrified of being thrown out of Vizh's bedroom back in the Transworlds Challenge.
> As for the murder plot, well... at least the crullers weren't being targeted. Or whatever the Caphan version of crullers might happen to be. I'd hate to learn I that I shouldn't try them...

It's good to know that your planned murder has a silver lining.
> I look forward to seeing more of these plots (even though the footnotes already say what decision Koodi made. Not that I expected other, as that would have been a very short subplot.)

Sorry about the Koodi spoiler. I'm having trouble keeping track of where I am in these posted stories (coming up to half way hopefully, but then I keep going back and adding scenes). Poor Koodi.
