Reply Subj: Don't they have the old "Birds of a feather" saying on her planet?

> An excellent pair of scenes dealing with the fallout from the invasion of Caph, and advancing Shazana's character arc admirably.

There was a time when I felt from feedback that the board was made up of people who didn't like Caphans and people who didn't like Pel. This story varies between then (and bits for people who don't like the Juniors and Vizh) so that everyone feels equally irritated.

> I also like how Vaahir has learned quite a bit about forgiveness in his time trying to atone for nearly ending existence and trying to stab me. Not that I want to encourage others to follow his particular path to enlightenment. At least not the beginning part with the big swords.

I think Vaahir has had a big growth arc; at least he's supposed to have had. He's got one major development still to come though, and not in this story.

> It will be interesting to see if the pigeon people can restore their race, or if they're finally too reduced in number to survive. Pel's a fighter though, so I have some faith that she can bring them back...

The first problem to restoring her race might be to not let all be executed.

> I look forward to the next part!

The next part gets a bit mythic from the Caphan perspective.
