Subj: Well, Quesada always was fairly vindictive about those who disagree with him publically...

Well, let's face it, "One More Day" basically eliminates HIS ENTIRE RUN in one fell swoop (The Spider-Totem? Gone. Organic webshooters? Gone. Aunt May knowing? Gone. etc.)

It really is adding insult to injury, and one imagines that it might make JMS leave Marvel altogether. If this were a just universe.

> ... You want to talk about a slap in the face? Check out the second linked post on scans_daily: Marvel dedicated the last issue of "One More Day" to J. Michael Straczynski, the same guy who hated it so much that he got into a shouting match with Joe Quesada over how much he hated it, during which he made it clear that he wanted to remove his name from this story, because that's how much he hated it.

...Even though he did his best to laugh off his massive over-reaction to PAD's comments when trying to save Captain Marvel. Quesada fans at the time liked to believe it was a planned publicity stunt from day 1, but you could tell the man was personally pissed off when he went public to belittle one of *his own company's* critically acclaimed books.

He quickly reversed course, as I can't imagine the creative community was particularly enamoured of that reaction. Which was a necessary move on his part... after all, the man's only editorial talent is having a rolodex.

Nice to see that he's learned enough to be more subtle about saying "F*** You" by now.
