He was really intended to be a long-term plot. The epilogue establish-the-new-status-quo story got a bit out of hand.

That said, I'd expected to get back to Carnifex by now. A few weeks of quite heavy work and a general board slump have derailed that somewhat. by now I'd expected to have several more stories told and it would be becoming clear where the Carnifex fitted into things.

Generally speaking, the plan was:

An Untold Tales (which is half done) showing how the slimmed-down LL work together.

A Boss Deadeyes story where the Boss meets the LL.

Another Tom Black mini-series, mapping out a forgotten corner of Parody Earth

Another Vinnie de Soth story, probably including a family reunion

An Untold Tales chronicling the end of the Caph plotlines and the return of the Juniors - possibly a two-parter.

The conclusion of the Herringcarp Asylum horror series (this was where I planned to be for Christmas - a ghost story)

And then when time allowed in the new year, the Beggarly Brotherhood, leading to a new LL recruitment drive.

It's not an idea I like either; but this is a Parodyverse, so it seemed fair game.

I expect that if the board perks up a bit in the new year I'll get to him eventually.

We won't find out for a while. Danny's off-planet right now in UT-chronology, with Kerry and Vizh, picking up the Juniors from Caph.

> Thomas Black: I've now caught up on these issues, Tom is an interesting character with a great connection to some of our heroes. I'd like to see more on how the Kaos affects him. At first I was rooting for him to be somewhat of a misunderstood good guy at heart, but after the issue where he quickly accepted Regret as an aid, and seemed to only bother about rescuing Asil when he bumped into her again seemingly by chance in the Heckfire Club hall, I'm now not so sure.

Tom's meant to be right there on the borderline. A second series for him would help illustrate him a bit better.
