> > Well, a story involving SA and Mumph would seem to be natural, what with the two of them being veterans of WWII (albeit ones that took place on different planes of reality). I'll repeat my idea of Mumph becoming the new head of SPUD here, because I think its a neat way to give you an opportunity to put the old duffer in the types of stories he's best suited for (globe trotting adventures ala Bond and Dr. Jones).

> I don't have any immediate or urgent plans for Mumph. Originally he was going to die at the end of the Parody War but the way things worked out it would have been over-egging the pudding so he's still around.

I figured Mumph to be dead meat by the Parody War's conclusion, and was quite relieved/surprised when he made it.
> Interesting SPUD idea, but that would then require me to actually tell some stories about it.

I fail to see the problem there, myself.
> I'll keep it in mind just in case, but I think a communal character like Drury serves the wider PV community better.
Fair enough.
> > Maybe its just because I like the Tom Black set up so much, but I think there's potential in him meeting the Argent Avenger, since there could be fun had with an unalloyed good guy crossing paths up with a character whose morality at this point seems to be up for grabs.

> That would be fun, although I'd like to run Tom through at least one more adventure to establish what he's like before doing a proper major team-up riff. I have the story in mind, I've got the appropriate clearances, but as you'll have noted the board is a bit moribund just now so I've put my PV writing on hold for a while.

The fact you needed "clearance" from another poster intrigues. Is somebody else heading for the big dirt nap?
> > And of course, I've dropped some hints that there may be more to this Grey Specter character Scoggins used to fight in his old reality, something that ties him to a more familiar figure in the PVB. I've got a few ways in mind on how to deal with this, ranigng from "It's all a big coincidence" to "It's not".

> My first choice would actually be Silver Agent vs the Hooded Hood, because I could see those two sparking off well together. However, since the Hood's not around at the moment I'll have to look for some other opportunity.

I figure the Cowled Crime Czar might enjoy getting the chance to brush up his archvillainous cliches on such a traditional style adversary.
> It won't be right away, I'm afraid. Even if I was regularly writing, the list of things I need to clear is quite long, and in a particular order, consisting of:
>
> The conclusion of the current Untold Tales elevator problems storyling
>
> Deadeyes #3, establishing his status quo vis a vis the Lair Legion
>
> Tom Black vol 2
>
> Possibly another story with Vinny De Soth
>
> Untold Tales of the Return of the Juniors

Don't forget the conclusion to the "Lissette takes a tour of the Hooded Hood's multiple origins" story.
> That said, I would like to get to doing something with SA before too long. Which is kind of where we came in, I suppose.

Looking forward to whatever you do, whenever you do it.
