I like too how his use of continuity isn't oppresive. It all gets explained pretty well and I don't think you needed to know it yourself to enjoy the story. I think you may get more out of it if you already know the continuity, but it's not essential.

Well, they're more in the loop I'd think. Stan doesn't actually have any responsiblity at Marvel any more does he?
