> I'm pretty sure keeping a Doomwraith in the basement wasn't the best idea.

You might recall that the LL and friends had to deal with a bunch of these guys all at once. Back then locking one in the prison designed to hold the Chain Knight probably seemed like a good idea. And once it's in there, how exactly would one transport it anywhere else?

> The reveal of the new Shaper is, well, scary. So now we have an evil Shaper and an evil Destroyer (at least according to Vizh); that's a lot of evil running the universe.

And evil beginnings are quite different from evil endings.

> I feel kind of bad for the contaminated Shoggoth. I've gotten the feeling over time the Legion mass wasn't really happy, considering its separation from the main Shoggoth, and this sort of confirms that. Maybe he'll get a happy ending after this reforming with the main mass? Of course he'd be welcomed back to the Legion should he so choose.

He died heroically, but death doesn't really mean the same thing for Shoggoths, as we saw in UT#214. He'd have stayed dead if it wasn't for Vizh and Nyalurkhotep bickering over his corpse.

> Glad to see Lilliblance and Sir John again, but I thought they had been returned to Swordrealm and Esperine already?

You've got me worried now. Did I already write their return? Because if so I've got some serious editing to do.

That still wouldn't be my biggest error this chapter, though. It was only at proofreading stage that I realised that instead of writing Hat and CSFB! in prison I'd written Hat and Epitome there.

> It's a shame to see Donar go, but at least he gets his farewell whomping.

It felt churlish to send him off without one.

> Hat, CSFB!, and the Baroness all got some good scenes in the prison break out. If Donar decided to hustle over though it wouldn't be a bad thing.

Expect Donar, Yuki, and Epitome there very soon to double the number of heroes helping out.

> Good job as usual Ian.

Jolly good. Now just to tie everything up and conclude it.
