> I KNEW it was the Master!
|
After the build up, we'd have been disappointed if it was anyone else.
> So Ian, what Masters were in those voice overs in Yana's head? It sounded like something from earlier in the old series.
|
yes, the voiceovers were from earlier episodes, starting with Roger Delgardo in "The Daemons" - one old story I urge you to track down and watch.
> Very good stuff. I like how Jack is immortal (we see that on Torchwood, too) and the Doctor is so repulsed by that that he left him.
> We need to see Jack in the Old West and other eras.
|
We do get a glimpse of Jack in WW1 in Torchwood ep 5 (also a very scary episode).
> One thing, so Jack was picked up in WWII (he was a time traveler, a fact that we don't hear anything about) then traveled with Rose and the Doc. He was left in the future, traveled too far back and lived till the present. That means in WWII there were two Jacks. Cool. Another fun episode that would make.
|
And Jack meets yet another Captain Jack Harkness when he time-travels back to WW2 in Torchwood ep 12.
> Oooo the Master seeps evil. I can't wait for the next two. This season sould have had more "Saxxon" forshadowing, but there were alot of fun single and double stories. Give and take.
|
The Master really is about as nasty as it gets in Doctor Who. The philosophy is that everything the Doctor can do for good the Master can do for evil. It's basically "if the Doctor turned totally bad what could he accomplish"?
> Great one. Can't wait till next.

I think you'll like it.
