He went upstairs to his room and looked under his bed for his jar of pennies. The jar was half full of pennies. Patrick undid the lid and took out five pennies. He put the pennies in his pocket. Then he put the lid back on the jar. He replaced the jar under his bed and went downstairs.

    Patrick was reached the backyard. He ran around the side of the house again to the hedge. He went through the hole in the hedges. Then he left his parents property and walked through the woods. Patrick met Remy at the fountain.

    Ã¢â‚¬Å“Here are the wishing pennies,” Patrick said.

    Ã¢â‚¬Å“Very good,” Remy said. “These pennies are slimy.”

    Ã¢â‚¬Å“They were in my pocket,” Patrick said. “I got slime on them.”

    Ã¢â‚¬Å“You mean worm slime?” Remy asked. He put the pennies in his pocket. Then he felt something squirm in his pocket. Remy was quite surprised. He reached into his pocket and pulled out five worms.

    Ã¢â‚¬Å“Wait right here,” Patrick said. He found his empty jar. He undid the lid. “Put them in here,” Patrick said. Remy looked at the worms. He grimaced and dropped them in the jar. “Here’s your map back.” Patrick walked away with his jar of worms. Remy stuffed his map back in his pocket. He picked up his and put on his hat. Then he walked away into the woods.
