Yes I did, and it was quite cool. Although I'm sure there was a large segment of the population who saw it on television and said "They're advertising movies that aren't coming out until next *May*?!
They did a good job of selling me on Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark with that one, and it's great to see how faithful they are to the source material. Although I've heard that "Ultimate Sam Jackson" has a cameo...

I only vaguely remember the Alec Baldwin one, but didn't they play it straight? It was just kinda bad, as I recalled... but I didn't remember it being especially campy. Then again, I don't really remember it much...
He' a generally cool character, though, and I'd like to see him done well.
This one also makes me think of the Rocketeer however... that would be a fun one to see a sequel to.

I've never seen the original.
> Them!: The greatest giant mutant ant movie ever made, this actually had a very smart script and some tense scenes (the stuff with the catatonic girl, the hunt in the sewers). Plus I'm a sucker for films where you've got the Army blowing the crap out of giant mutant anythings.

Indeed. You know, I just saw the American "Godzilla" flick again the other day... Even with the bad, bad plot, the movie could have been fun if it had been all about a pissed off Godzilla fighting the military instead of Godzilla eating fish and the military accidentally shooting themselves.
