 > I find it sorta distracting, but I can live with it. I do prefer the old way and don't really find that I have to scroll *too much* to get the meat.

You always prefer the old way.  :)

 > I always liked the PVB because it didn't worry about being work-safe or any of that nonsense. If you're at work, you should be working. Kirk (CSFB!) posts graphic Transformers slash-fiction with robot sex or rants about why Aunt May is a GILF (and that's why we love ya, Kirk \:P ). I used to post stories with a psychotic Postman beating someone to death with their own dismembered arm while yelling obscenities. Compared to that, 'pantsless Nats' is not even a blip on the radar. And if I do come back to post more stories I should warn you I haven't mellowed with age. My stories will be just as R-rated as before, and I don't plan on censoring them.

It's not just a question of work safe content, it's whether people feel comfortable visiting the board itself whenever and wherever.  Nobody will stand over your shoulder and read the text (at least I hope not) but a 3.5" tall pantsless image gets attention from much farther away.  :)

 > I prefer Times, and prefer more visible breaks and font-sizes between stories and replies.

Times it is, and there's an indent there.

 > It's okay, but it's really hard to read the quoted text.

Noted.

 > Please bring back underline. There was no real purpose in removing it. It's made the threads all seem more bunched together and its not a look I like.

It looks well separated on my display.  I'll have to try it on different browsers and see.

 > I would like the 'search' feature to go back to being the way it is, by allowing the poster to look through individual months. It makes it a lot easier for referencing old stories.

That's a much requested feature.  Noted.

 > Jason, I appreciate the work you're putting into the site, but like I said "if it aint broke don't fix it." To me, the old PVB wasn't broke. The new interface is too complicated, too micro-managed. Even without the Micro. ;\-\)

It's still being refined but I've come too far to change it all back to the way it was.  Maybe something in between will work.
