Now what does 1992 have to do with 2012 besides being 20 years ago....

In Seattle, Washington: A 9 year old boy starts down a path that will come to define his life.

I started to read Comics in late 1991 but most of my earliest comic books are from 1992 which means that 2012 marks the 20th year of me reading comics. So, over the course of the rest of the year (& maybe a bit into 2013). I'm going to do a 20 year retrospective of the comic books I've read over the last 20 years at my blog: http://stuffbybrian.blogspot.com/

Most of the comics I'll be talking about are the "good" comics. The ones that made a big impact on me! The ones I really enjoy! I might add in some of the "bad" comics to this retrospective if I think they are worth talking about & if I even still have them.

There are a few notable Comic Book milestones that happened in 1992:

- Image Comics is founded.

- Detective Renee Montoya (Batman #475) & Carnage (Amazing Spider-Man # 361) make their 1st appearances.

- With Issue 12, NFL Superpro is cancelled.

- Spider-Man 2099 #1 is published.

I'll be back soon with the 1st official post in what I am calling "The 2012 Project". I do know what I'd like to do for the 1st entry but I got to do something first.
