...Unfortunately I got home to find my daughter with a broken foot. She doesn't have the slightest idea how she did it, and is now in plaster.

She and Sharon spent the afternoon in casualty, and I ended up taking them out for a meal this evening as Sharon was really not in a state to cook.

On the plus side, I had two glasses of rather fine cider, and am now even less connected to reality than usual.
