Fortunately even with many of the cast blown up, time-lost, dimension-lost, revoked, and otherwise out of it there is still a strong bench to call upon. For example, I'm halfway through the Caphan chapter now.

If Lara Night is actually KILLED killed, her energy component would return "home" and she'd reassemble there, with no knowledge of how exactly she was killed. Except then she'd have to go back again.

Right now the Parodyverse is closed for business.

I may have illustrated that previously in a story, if I actually posted it.

That's a wise move. It might also suggest building an audience with monthly or bomonthly novellas in the 20k range that assemble later into a big thick volume.

Maybe, but then I have to find cutoff points.

It is something of an art form, because it also means re-introducing charactacters and background information each time without seeming to so that it doesn't read as repetitious for a collected edition.

It will hopefully be pretty obvious what's happened when the UT reveal comes. I've tried to play fair.

I have a more limited history than a lot of the posters here, so it's quite possible it's already obvious to them, if it's something from the distant past.

I'm digging fairly deep for some minutiae here - for example there's a plot point to pay off from my 9th ever Parodyverse story - but playing fair means including all really relevant information in the current narrative. The rest is just trimmings.

And this story isn't primarily a whodunnit anyhow. It's about what makes the Parodyverse the Parodyverse.
