I had the weird experience this weekend of people actually putting banknotes in my hand and walking away with books I had written. I was at FantasyCon 2015 in Nottingham, UK - I even got to do a Q&A panel and everything.

Okay, Ramsay Campbell, Paul Cornell, Rob Sherman and co might have got higher billing, but I'm sure that was just a misprint.

I also ran into Ian Watson's agent - that's the successful award-winning, screen-writing, SF legend Ian Watson that people keep mistaking me for. He wants to do an onstage meet between is at an upcoming event. I'm pushing for an arm wrestle.
