Well, the advantage of this and Tom Black's and Vinnie De Soth's series is that most of the characters are created by me or are characters whose posters have ceded me wide latitude to use, develop, or dispose of. Rather more than with Untold Tales, which has to conform to a wider writership with more vested poster interests, these casts can be arranged however I want the stories to go. And I don't need to negotiate with anybody about doing terrible things to them.




Yes, this was going to be a very lucrative year until the lawsuit arrived on my doorstep. Now I'm in dispute over around £20,000 plus costs; I'll probably win eventually, but it's a drag I could have done without.




We first got wind of this plot in Deadeyes #3, which appeared more than a couple of years ago.

As an aside, I always assumed the the PVB progressed in real time up to about 2007. I aged Sam Featherstone and Kerry annually. Since then I think PVB time has passed quite a bit slower than real time. We're probably a little over a year past the Parody War now, which puts Sam at 14 and Kerry at 19. And Asil at 11.

And yes, Klein has made a tactical blunder going near Asil. Several blunders. Possibly hemigod/loathesome elder being/Destroyer of Tales level blunders.




I'm dreading having to do it.

That said, I'm motivating myself to write it by saying "If I do this I don't need to finish the next chapter of Untold Tales yet".
