Quote: Nice message of pan-spiritual tolerance from Mac.We've seen him stand up for robot rights and accept a vampire to dinner so it seems in his ambit. An interesting glimpse of what could have been in the now. In a different period of board activity I might have structured things differently to allow tie-ins. There's certainly some potential stories there. Effective callbacks to both Liu Xi's lingering debt and Knifey's previous (or rather future) match-up with Mefrothto. Best to keep the pot spinning and to respect previous plots - when I can remember them. The previous generation of heroes using the old artifacts to defeat Vast had a real Bubba Ho-Tep feel to it (a surprisingly moving film about Elvis Presley versus an evil Egyptian mummy). I keep meaning to watch it. And Con seems to have gotten younger than he used to be in continuity. I figure he's always mid-to-late 30s just like Dancer's always mid-20s. Yes, I did catch the not-so-subtle jab at the bratty birthday girl. Rhiannon was quite well behaved yesterday even when confronted with a brother with challenging public-curry-eating behaviour. That plus an evening at the theatre with both her parents would try any young woman, but she managed the entire day without killing anyone. It's deeply weird that she's almost an adult. You're telling me?/font> | |||||||
