Peace, goodwill and all that.

Hope the crazy weather patterns are not too crazy where you are.

I am aiming to write something for the board these next few days.

Best wishes to you all.

Al B.

Fair warning; from Christmas Day through the New Year's weekend, don't expect to hear from me, since I'll be visiting family in Idaho during that time.

Yes, I'm finally getting to take some vacation time. I've literally been working to fill two people's jobs since the start of October, and even after I take this holiday break, I'll still have more than three weeks of vacation time left to take.

Because we're flying out to see the rest of the family on Christmas morning, the folks and I opened our gifts to each other at their house on Christmas Eve.

While I would not have bought the latest edition of the Marvel Encyclopedia for myself, since it references Spider-Man's marriage retcon as the current status quo of the character, I still appreciate that my mom got it for me, especially since it took me long enough to gently educate her that me being a fan of superhero comics did not equate to me wanting to receive Spawn merchandise.

I am also now the proud possessor of a slim but relatively protective laptop carrying case, so that I can stop using my backpack to tote it around, and a wash-and-wear earth-tone bathrobe, which will allow me to dress as either Obi-Wan Kenobi or the Dude from The Big Lebowski for Halloween.

I still owe some people some replies. I'll get to those when I get back.
