One of the reasons I switched was I didn't want to create a whole military troop that we'd never see again. I also didn't want to contradict what happened in the Moderator Saga, and that is a LOT of research to do. It was easier to switch it up to the first person style, and in the end I thought it put out a better product.

I was debating interspersing some scenes of the Machine Shop and Glitch throughout to break it up, but I approached this as a stand-alone chapter (that you might see between 2 story arcs in a comic series) that can also help enhance the current plot.
