Quote: Quote: Would it help if I wrote him out of that corner?Quote: I'm a big fan of passing the buck, so sure!I'll see what I can do in due course; if not for the line-up then by the time Thugos makes his next substantive adversarial appearance. [ Quote: If it had come to a vote, I'm afraid the Yurt would have gotten a thumbs down from me. Unstoppable monsters on super teams never work in my opinion because as soon as s/he's forced to work with others he has to become stoppable otherwise all the other heroes look bad by comparison. I think it's easier to work mega-strong-tough-guys in than many other massively powerful types. For example, I see Donar as pretty powerful but he's usually easy to deploy in combat narratives, and mostly he still gets his moment of shock and awe. Multiple powered characters or those with massive energy projection abilities are much more difficult to include. generally if they're that powerful they either have to be taken down first or they solve the problem. Quote: I'm not really all that regular a contributor any more (though I do plan on putting up a story this weekend). And I'd rather see a good line up than have superfluous characters that add nothing to it, even if that character happens to be one of my creations.Apart from Jason I don't think anyone's putting up stories at the pace they once did. You're still ahead of the crowd. | |||||||
