Quote: Quote: Quote: As for the character we're considering, I think the storyline you wrote and the point it was up to lend themselves quite well to tie-in at pretty much this point in continuity. The character is in the right place in contact with the right people. Admittedly there's a massive Hulk vs Avengers style fight to get over first and then a rationale for his staying around to concoct but there's a convergence at least.Quote: Quote: Well, the story I left off had him brawling with the Carnifex, who is now dead, so it would take some doing to get him caught up to current events.Quote: Ah, I'd forgotten that bit. I was recalling the part where he'd just encountered Magweed and Griffin. He encountered Griffin, and then encountered the Carnifex, who threw the Lair Sub at him causing its atomic pile to crack from its casing and go China Syndrome in the team's underground submarine pen. Not to mention IAGOS (Infernal Analytical Game Operating System)showing up and taking control of the Legion's computer network. I think. Its been so long I don't remember if I got to that point in the story yet. Quote: Would it help if I wrote him out of that corner?I'm a big fan of passing the buck, so sure! Quote: Quote: Quote: In terms of power levels, how would you consider him in relation to, say, Donar, or the Hulk, or Superman?Quote: Quote: I imagined him being capable of going toe to toe with guys like the Yurt and Onslaughter. Quote: I don't think depowering would be neccessary then. I did consider the Yurt for membership at one point. If it had come to a vote, I'm afraid the Yurt would have gotten a thumbs down from me. Unstoppable monsters on super teams never work in my opinion because as soon as s/he's forced to work with others he has to become stoppable otherwise all the other heroes look bad by comparison. Quote: Quote: Quote: At this stage I'm happy to go with any of the options.Quote: Quote: As I've said, I think he's the best option available of all my creations, but I don't think he has to be on the team. We've had close to two years of Lair Legion stories without me being represented on the roster and things have gone just fine.Quote: I'll ponder this some more then; but I think such a regular contributor as yourself should have a character on the team if you want one.I'm not really all that regular a contributor any more (though I do plan on putting up a story this weekend). And I'd rather see a good line up than have superfluous characters that add nothing to it, even if that character happens to be one of my creations. | |||||||
