It's actually javaSCRIPT, not java. I wouldn't be caught dead using actual java.

Sadly there's no way to do auto-save using just HTML because of the timer bit. Another alternative is a plugin, but only Firefox seems to have one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6984

A third alternative is that I'm making an iphone app that's going to allow posting from it, but you'd have to have an iphone.
