I expect things to get worse.




My problem isn't just coming up with different ways to beat unbeatable baddies, it's finding different rhythms and styles of battle so the combat doesn't feel like a retread of the last one. For example this issue features three big fights against villains with similar abilities. The challenge is to make each one seem distinct from the others and the last one bigger and tougher than the ones before.

Why do I write myself into these corners?
