I didn't cover it in detail, but it's possible Liu Xi was trained during her brief time with the Shoggoth and Ebony. Another factor might be that when she was found by the duo, she had lost all hope and didn't really care if she lived or died. Ironically, that kind of feeling kind of closes the mind to everything around it.





It's a good movie to illustrate it. A man who was used to living in a fast paced, high tech world, then was stranded on a desert island, and when he returned home he was suddenly overwhelmed by it all.








That may be what makes the blasphemous. It's just that the elder beings are resistant to being spit out.





She's not particularly absorbent of psionic or conceptual stuff though, just raw energy. I'm sure her brain would have to do some resolving of that stuff though, which might make her more than a little emotional or unstable for a while.

Come to think of it, Liu Xi is like that normally, so she might still be dealing with shoggoth concepts in her mind.
