Since Lara met the Hooded Hood, the first piece of advice about him she would give is that the Hood likes pushing people's buttons and making them angry and reckless. That's why she laughs it off when he does that, or at least tries not to let it get to her too much. Though I'm sure with Lara the Hood holds the real scary button-pushing in reserve, in case he needs it later.

> The last time the Hood met Lara, I chose that strategy on purpose. Why? Because it's far more evil for the Hood to tell Lara the truth and then let her choose whether to help. That way she has to make a painful choice without being threatened by something of his doing. Besides, it makes more sense that way since Lara has so little to lose in the Parodyverse - she doesn't live there, and threatening the few friends she has there repeatedly would be beneath the Hood.
