Inspired by my own recent fic:

The joke, of course, being that this really is a photo of the current Davros, Julian Bleach - seen here in rehearsal as Ariel, in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of The Tempest - who somehow manages to appear scarier without prosthetic makeup than with it.

And yes, that is Patrick Stewart in the background, getting his Prospero on. $\:\)$
