Koodi's the kid who doesn't get picked for the cheerleading squad. She's every self-conscious insecure good-hearted low-self-esteemed girl who gets picked on by the prom queens. She's never been the focus of attention, never been the special one, never been anyone but the drudge who cleans the bedsheets the morning after. But she's loyal, caring, hard-working, reluctantly brave, and given a chance she could be as special as anyone can be.
