Maybe. I think that instance (Chad in Jail) was more of one where Ronnie had a set goal (he doesn't get a lot of those) that needed to be done & Chad couldn't be there to help him out (which he does a lot). Sure, Jane tagged along to help out but she's no Chad.
I also think that Ronnie's end goal in all this is to get back to Chad no matter what detour he makes. He's grown to need Chad in his life. Sure, he can manage without him for short bursts (a few hours to maybe a day or two). But anything longer then that he might wig out & you wouldn't like Ronnie when he wigs out! So, Ronnie finding Dury (or vice versa) was a good thing. Dury made a Ronnie an acting SPUD agent & then began to boss him (Ronnie) around: There is the set goal(s). It was something to keep his mind occupied while he's away from his Chad.

I think you've meant to type "Chad" not "Ronnie": Ronnie hasn't been to the camp. I've thought about doing a story where you get Chad's inner monologue (which would only the 2nd time that you've gotten something from Chad's perspective, Chad once sent Jane a postcard). I had some ideas but I'm kind of lost the timeline of Chad's actions over the course of the story. If I had a more clear idea of what has happened then I might do a story but at this moment: I'm not sure.
I had some Ronnie/Dury story ideas but I can relate those later when Ronnie tells Chad about where he's been & what he's done when they meet back up.
