> > > Hmm...Anna's loss of consciousness and Griffin's proximity might be the source of a tie-in. Maybe. Sadly that means if I do I'd have to write it fast and email it. It wouldn't exactly be a phoenix rising from the ashes, though - the results may be surprising. It'll gain everyone some knowledge about her though.
> > I certainly don't intend to write the pair off yet.
> I was more concerned about whether there were other plans. The clue to the tie-in is that the specifications Anna gave Al B Harper are not entirely correct, and that her abstract neural network brain can override nearly all the hardware requirements of the specs, except maybe if someone figures out how to open her up and remove both batteries (which she wouldn't put up with lightly). She's basically the Terminator with a conscience and much more intelligence.

As we'll see later, Anna's problem is affected by that very issue. If she elects to over-ride the over-ride she's got a neural net too much like a human brain to be immune from the same control that took down the others. If she elects to retain her own mind she can't connect it to the body network that would allow those telepathic control signals to dominate her like everybody else.

I expect there'll be an appropriate resolution to her dilemma in Saving the Future #17.

> It also has to do with the fact that she's protective of Visionary's kids, because a friend asked her to look after them.

And Griffin is trying to return the favour. Again, see #17.

> Mostly it explores two of the secrets of Anna's design that Drury mentioned, and you'll be surprised at what results.

Intriguing.

> > > And speaking of Yuki, she almost spotted something wrong with Al B Harper.
> > She certainly did, but she didn't quite have the chance to work out exactly what.
> It sounds like Cromlyn is going to be the next one punched.

There could be a queue.

> > > Shooting Marie was a bad idea. She'll just become more obnoxious while dead.
> > Noted.
> Maybe she'll scream the hypnosis right out of the Librarian's head.

Too easy to allow.
