Sooner or later he's either going to have to tell her or hope that he it's easier to convince Danny to romance her...which still might not work. Unless he has some way to force them or trick them into it, which is unlikely. Danny and Liu Xi are both far too smart (though we've never heard Danny's opinion on whether he likes or is attracted to Liu Xi, so that may change things).

If he asks her for that he may as well put on a collar and leash. She's been after him to be more honest about what he's doing - and she can use that to convince him the only way into her grandmother's heart is honesty.

Makes me wonder, though, how often Sir Mumphrey thinks about talking louder at Liu Xi when she doesn't quite have a grasp on what he's saying.
