Subj: Think of it as a dramatic pause.

Reply Subj: Well, that's one way to make the mystery kind of moot.

> So, all the clues are there, and Champagne has the solution... You know, usually she's the one who stole the missing thing to begin with. Maybe Flapjack should check more of her pockets just in case.

A very aposite point.

> Lots of fun interactions in this one, as we touch in with more of the cosmic sides of things, and learn what they do and don't know. However, the new mystery is especially perplexing... I don't offhand recall what those stones pushing up from underground might mean, if indeed they have been featured before. Likely not good, especially with what they did to poor Marie.

No, that's not going to be healthy for anyone

> I'd say Vizh certainly makes an enticing suspect, especially paired with Hallie. Right there you have motive (for Kerry's sake) and the means (He's dating the security system, after all.) Plus, he clocked Garrick long before Al ever did. If I had the time, I would have penned an interrogation scene, complete with assistance from Ms. Pfeffercorn for psychological profiling. Alas, it's an extra busy week, and my brother is coming this weekend (meaning I need to clean up enough so that he can sit down somewhere). Maybe next sprawling mystery story.

Shame. That has all the elements of a classic.

> Doorman's coming out in the PV certainly turned a few heads. Well, turned them to radioactive ash, but either way he knows how to make an entrance. So to speak. I may have been around the Shoggoth too much.

It was time to show what Doorman could do.

> Outstanding job on this whole massive mini! I greatly look forward to the who, what, where, when, why and how.

And thanks for the e-mail. You were entirely correct about who took Danny, how, and why. You were around 70% accurate on the stones etc. You were wrong in your assertion about Doorman.

I'm impressed that three people now have actually solved significant chunks of this mystery.
