As I said though, Liu Xi has the book only because she doesn't know how to get rid of it. She doesn't tell anyone because she's afraid the only reaction she'll get is people telling her "Just get rid of it! Anything is better than you having it." Only she knows that's not true, because she can think of a lot of worse things.
All Visionary or Hallie berating her for it would do is make her feel bad about a situation she doesn't want, but takes seriously because she knows how bad it can get.
