Hey, if you accept a guest role in a superhero story where you're not the headliner there's always a change that you're going to end up as the bitch.

Besides, who on Earth is trained to be an ambassador ro an alien world? Vizh genuinely has more perspective and experience to suit him to the job than almost anyone.

> There was no question that Kit was going to do the right thing, but it was fun to see all the same.

I wanted to have at least one plot strand focus on him (and on each of the young cast) while I had them assembled.

> Kiivan appears to have prepared well for the resistance he was bound to face. His use of Harlagaz as the "big stick" allows him to embody the other part of Theodore Roosevelt's advice, by speaking softly.

This particular challenge was fairly obvious, so it would have been unfair not to depict Kiivan as having anticipated it.

> And it does my heart good to see Vizh outwitting politicians, on their own terms. It's nothing less than they deserve.

On the whole, I suspect Chauncy's not going to have a happy visit to Caph.

> I could have handled those girls for Ham-Boy, though ...

Aren't you married now?

The PV has a dearth of single available Romeo types right now. If only DBS would come back.
