> > Faite is likely amused that for the first time, one of the Parodyverse's biggest villains cursed her name at the end.
>
> At least someone had a good day then.
|
Of course. Her own plan worked out and things were reset.
> > Liu Xi believes the void that she manipulates is some sort of magical energy that makes up the foundation and glue of the Parodyverse. That's as much as Xander likely taught her, though he didn't have much experience with it either since the gift is so rare.
>
> If there's no family link the Scholar would still be interested in Liu Xi. She may have a new adversary.
|
Liu Xi wouldn't even be aware of that, since as far as she knows she's the only one with the talent to mess with Void. Her family, though, had no such talents, so a direct link might be a long shot unless it skips a few generations.
> > She also is going to have a lot to come to terms with since she'll have a hard time verifying that this Jay is the real thing.
>
> That's a scene we need on record.
|
Noted.
> > Lara got to explode something. It's been a very, very long time since she's had to do that, and there's good reason she doesn't like to. Yes, I know that doesn't make much sense until I dig more into her past.
>
> The other question is how did she feel about the tough choice she had to make - blow up a city to save a world.
|
Lara is unusual there, in that she's not afraid to make choices like that. She's not happy she had to, but given what has been happening up to that point she was probably fully prepared for it. The fact that she waited until the last minute says a lot about her self control. More on that in a tie-in, perhaps.
> > Oh, and it sounds like Samantha Featherstone may be in love.
>
> She thinks not. It's not in her plan.
|
Double noted.
And additional comments:
I wonder if the Carnifax is going to resort to more dangerous measures now that his plan was accidentally thwarted by Al B Harper.
I'm not sure if Danny is alive or dead at this point. I suspect the Hooded Hood may have taken advantage and returned though.
