> Though I have to admit, I was always more of a Ginger fan. Maybe because she's a redhead and I'm shallow.

Hey, Mary Ann was simply "and the rest" during the early seasons of the show, so you couldn't be alone in that.

> A very nicely done story telling the first encounter between Vizh and Hallie. I quite liked the bit where Vizh turned the AI's acronym into something more real, plus him giving us the name's meaning (though I have to question the validity of any story that involves a sixth grader daring a boy to eat a bug. Most kids move beyond that by that age. Then again, given what we know, Visionary might have been in remiedials).

One of the hazards in writing quickly... I likely switched 6th grade and 6 years old in my mind. For now we'll just have to assume they had recently watched a filmstrip in class on tribes who eat bugs for protein and wanted to see a practical test. Or I could always edit it.

> I also enjoyed the setting of the stage for the entire "what it means to be human" argument that's so important in Hallie's stories. It certainly makes sense for it to be Vizh to bring it up, and shows one of the reasons why she's so fond of him. Besides his suave demeanor around the ladies, that is.

Really. Little Hallie probably never got that kind of deep philosophical discussion out of that Steadman guy.
