He should only be embarrassed if he breaks something important.  I'm sure Liu Xi would tell him so if he would calm down for a moment. ÂÂ
From Liu Xi's point of view, though, it seems like he's always fascinated with her power.  She wouldn't be sure exactly what he's attracted to. ÂÂ
Maybe not monetary-wise but there might be something with a lot of mystical or sentimental value to break accidentally.  Or then there's the security deposit he could lose by breaking things like doorknobs.
She might do that too.  Though because Chiaki is perceptive, she can guess that the landlord may try to take advantage of the fact that Vinny has higher-profile cases and knows Lair Legion associates by raising the rent.  She would be just the person to prevent that. But she might also send paying customers that way if she finds someone who needs mystic-type help. ÂÂ
I guess that depends just how far she gets the rent reduced. | ||||||||
