> Yep. Especially when that someone has years of pent-up frustration behind a shy sweet experior just waiting to be expressed.

Could have been worse.  She could have been carrying explosives or bladed weapons.

> > So Tom Black has a thing for Yuki Shiro it sounds like?  Asking Regret to take her form?
>
> As spiff points out, Regret was doing the offering. Maybe she can tell what kind of things tempt her subject (in which case she was either teasing Tom about Mr Epitome or he's playing both ways), maybe she just listed Yuki because Tom had encountered her recently and was sure to have noticed her, maybe she was planting some seeds of temptation in for later. She's very good at what she does.

I figured that Regret wouldn't have asked if Tom would have demonstrated some kind of attraction before - either he asked for it before or she noticed him looking at Yuki a lot.  Or maybe our board banner pic appeared in some magazine Tom is keeping around and thinks he's hiding from Regret.

> > The only problem with Sir Mumphrey's warning is now he becomes target #1.  Slaughter might realize that without Mumph the Lair Legion will have to leave the protection of the law and risk being sued by Sneek, Grabbit, and Thuggery.
>
> I suspect Mumph is more than willing to be target #1. He wasn't bluffing when he threatened Slaughter abiout next time. I'm sure part of Mumph hopes the Heck-Fire Club is dumb enough to ignore the warning.

There may be someone out there who won't stand for Mumph offering himself up as a sacrifice.
