> After we played the few hands we sat back and just smoked.

>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“Harry the Runt is from Philadelphia,” I said.
>
>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“He drives a Buick. He rigged the trunk himself. There’s a false bottom to it. It can store two crates easily.”
>
>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“A Buick like Harry’s should get him around those hills.” He nodded. He stood up from the table. Then he took out a couple dice from his pocket. He held them in his palm. I stood up from the table and followed him to a brick wall. He tossed the dice against the wall a couple times. He dropped a quarter on the ground and I dropped a quarter. He rolled an eight.
>
>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“Harry always takes I-30.” I picked up the dice and rolled them a couple times. They came up snake eyes on the third roll. “Harry will drive through South Side. He’ll meet Arnold in an alley a block over.”
>
>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“South Side is Charlie’s territory.” He picked up the dice and rolled them again. Then he stood up.
>
>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“There’s a commotion outside.” He looked up in the direction of the street. He said there was a car screeching. He turned and left the room. A waitress entered the room. She wore fishnet stockings and a very short skirt. She gave me a beer when I stood up. She took out a set of keys from a pocket in her waitress outfit.
>
>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“Arnold gave me the keys,” She said. I followed her to an empty room. There was a desk inside the room. She put her tray on the desk. “The whiskey is in the drawer.” There was dust on her outfit. There was a hole in her back. She opened the drawer and took out the whiskey. She took out two tin cups as well. Then she poured the whiskey in the cups.
>
>     I took my whiskey and leaned against the wall. She sat on her boss’ desk. There was dust on her outfit like her boss’. After the whiskey I took her from behind. I left her in the office and sat back down in the main room. She came in a few minutes later and set a stack of chips in front of me.
>
>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“Arnold keeps a shot glasses behind the bar.” I watched her walk around the room. “The shot glasses have to be washed.”
>
>     The shot glasses had been packed away a long time ago. The bar had been ripped out. The waitress took a pack of smokes from her skirt. She put them on the table. She set another beer down on the table for me. She brought out two more chairs and set them at the table.
>
>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“Arnold is out back with the boss.” She sat down and lit a cigarette and then lit me one. She peeled the plastic off a deck of cards. She stood up and dealt me a hand. I slid my hand up her skirt. I let it rest on her ass. Then she sat back down and we played a hand.
>
>     Ã¢â‚¬Å“I saw your boss.” She picked up the cards and shuffled them. “He heard a car screeching upstairs.” She nodded. She put the cards down and walked out of the room. I got up from the table and left the cellar.
