> I like too how his use of continuity isn't oppresive. It all gets explained pretty well and I don't think you needed to know it yourself to enjoy the story. I think you may get more out of it if you already know the continuity, but it's not essential.

His characters pretty much feel "right" and he clearly has a love for his source material. That goes a long way to making a superior product.
