> ... Is Rape Ape. Or Argh!Yle!, Evilest of Socks.
|
Not really.
> Sarah's luck in her personal life tends to run about as well as Spider-Man's, so I don't think you can blame us for being suspicious of Harry.
|
There's also the theory though that Sarah's luck in her personal life goes how she expects it to, because she's making unconscious use of her probability powers to make it so. Without those powers her jinx might be broken.
> Black's Crossing is up to its usual tricks, I see. As fanwankish as it would have been, it still would have been neat, given your confessed inspiration for it, to see a scene which included a phone call from Indrid Cold, asking, "Still want more proof, John Klein?"
|
Another presumed movie reference goes right over my head.
> Vizh should follow Yuki's lead, and start reminding everyone he meets that he basically bitch-smacked the Parody Master. Good to see the Omega Man back in charge of his hellish home planet, by the way.
|
It seemed an approrate place to put him.
> Speaking of which, am I the only one who sensed a prelude to a recruiting offer, in Epitome and Dark Thugos' conversation? Telling an enemy, "You are strong," in that way, reminds me a lot of Lee Van Cleef and Kurt Russell's conversation at the end of Escape From New York - "How'd you like a job, Plissken?"
|
It could go that way.
> And Lee seems poised to make some much-needed reforms to the IOL, which is welcome, while Champagne has taken an interest in the orphanage, for reasons I assume will be revealed later. I'm starting to hear Denise "Aeon Flux" Poirer's voice in my head more when I read Champagne's dialogue.
|
I've never seen that either. I know poster-Champagne hears Sophie Myles.

> > “What about Silicone Sally?†CrazySugarFreakBoy! challenged. “Any idea where she’ll have slunk off to after she dripped off your fat ass when the PM zapped you?â€Â
> > “I really don’t think that some who is married to Alice April Apple should go around insulting other people’s vital statistics,†Elizabeth von Zemo replied. “Tell me, when you and she take that pensioner from Faerie to bed with you do you call her ‘mommy’?â€Â
> Insults roll right off Dream, when they're directed at him, but he's still learning how to deal with it, when they're aimed at those he cares about.
