Noted.
I didn't think so either.  But you have to understand that she talks to Dream a lot, who probably insists that's just what Hatman needs.ÂÂ
To be fair they spoke on only two topics related to that:  One was when she was trying to explain to him why her encounter with Dream was blown all out of proportion, and the other was about Zdenka.  Honestly Lara is usually nervous talking to Hatman, but hides it behind a smile.  She's afraid because she isn't sure he'll ever accept her, because she's neither an "all business" co-worker, nor is she attempting to become a potential girlfriend - she's just trying to be friendly.  She tries to talk to him about slightly personal, topical things (even about herself) so he won't continue trying to keep his distance from her.  If he knew that he might feel sorry for her in her attempts.  :) Her current fears about it:  1) That things will turn chilly when eventually Hatman may put his foot down and say he doesn't mind working with her but he wants to keep it completely professional and doesn't want to have chats with her or be friendly etc (and of course he wouldn't understand why it saddens her);  and 2) That Hatman is too worried about what other people might say about him being friendly with Lara, and he can't take the risk if he wants to pursue a relationship with Zdenka or anyone else (the "celebrity defense"). | |||||||
