Looks to be cheesy fun, but hearing GLaDOS sold me on it! Apparently Guillermo Del Toro is a huge "Portal" fan himself and went to Valve for permission to replicate her for the film.

...And it would take a lot more than this to drag me to the cinema these days. HH probably remembers how disinterested I was in films back in the day. I am probably several times worse now.

When playing the original Portal it lures you into thinking that it's a straightforward puzzle game, albeit one with a generic computer delivering some funny pre-record lines. The longer it goes on, the more you pick up that things are a bit off and that there's actually a storyline at work. Eventually you escape the game you thought you were playing into a struggle against the computer itself. Still, for all of her semi-generic ness at first, after spending enough time with her she becomes very distinctive and I recognized her right away.
