I have a story most of the way written but I don't have an ending for it so I turn to you, the story's future readers, to write the ending!

I won't tell you what the story is about or who's init but I want you to write the ending. I would like it to be an open ended ending but that all I'll say.

I'll take the best ending submitted & fit it into the story I have so far. Once I do that I'll post the story for you all to read.

Epilogue

Two hidden characters can be seen in the background. They seem super powered dudes, if only because their shapes resemble those of the colorful costumes they normally wear

The wind blow hard, and allow this conversation to be hear..

>>Was it worth it? The pain? The effort? The hurt?...One was saying. Not inflection though. He, or maybe she, just sounded tired... or perhaps just disappointed..but defenitely not scared neither angry…mostly exhausted and empty.

>>”Hurt? They owed me!. It was my right, my time!. I did all for them. It was mine to get. I deserved it” A passionate voice replayed.

>>Owe you?...who are you?. Who are the likes of you?. A rich man, maybe a genius, but one with a cold heart …we don´t owe you shit..You and your kind always win, or think you do, but truth is you will be defeated, eventually..you will…the truth will get us free…” passion could be notice this time…that and longing

>>”Probably you are right" was the calm cold answer this time.. at some point we will be defeated, but not tonight..tonight I am the free one…”

And with that, a bullet could be heard into the night… and then, peaceful silence

And then he looked into her eyes and asked, whilst softly stroking her hair, "Will you marry me?"

To be continued.

The bus ploughed through the market stalls, scattering pedestrians and pigeons, heading towards the building. The reflective lobby glass showed it growing larger and larger. Then the runaway behicle crashed into the atrium, demolished the ronamental koi pond, and skidded to a halt three inches from the reception desk.

The receptionist looked over at the frenzied driver. "Do you have a parking pass, she asked?"

"And that," he said, "was just the beginning."

"Wow." His date watched him, pouting, one eyebrow raised. "That's some tale."

"Perhaps we should continue it somewhere else." He set down his glass and looked for the waiter. By now they were the last in the restaurant, but the staff didn't seem to be paying much attention; there was no-one to bring the check. He pushed back his chair and tried to stand. Instead he slid awkwardly onto his knees.

Her face loomed over him. "I'm sorry, Ramon. This was the only way."

He clutched at the tablecloth as the floor lurched; he heard distantly the clatter of falling glasses. "Ramon? But..."

"Don't worry, Ramon. You'll understand. Soon, I promise."

Voices mingled, lights dimmed and he felt himself lifted, carried outside. She was still there, but something else too. Something not human.
