Ok, seeing the answers to KS post, is clear we are a bunch of busy people…and that is good..till certain point. There is always time for a quick, non sensical (is that a word??), pretty basic, even silly quiz….(you are sooo free to ignore it) So here I go (please, pretty please..don´t make me the only one answering it..I am post-shy) 1. Fave main parodyverse character (not because she/he is hot…other attributes would be Appreciated…extra points if you give some explanation why) 2. Fave storyline ever (written by you) 3. Fave storyline ever (written by your friendly next door poster…ummm..not you..., another poster) 4. Fave secondary character (remember, Visionary, CZFB and MangaSh. ARE main oneS by Brussels convention and American fake rights –probably- too) 5. Your fave comic book being published right now (month less month more) 6. Fave published comic book character 7. Are you happy right now?. What are you going to do to improve the situation if the answer is not (too gossipy…? ignore it) 8. Say something that you always wanted to, but no body cared to listen 9. You are free to make you own quiz if this one sucks Good night you all, hopefully see you all tomorrow with my answers even

My answers: 1. Fave parodyverse character Can I say Yo?. No?...ok…but s/he was co-authored…okey, then… I don’t like to say only one. This question really suck. Too many…Thus, I am only going to talk about the missing ones (Jarvis, Finny, CoS, Dario, Messenger, RR, Sersi, Dancer?. arrgg. I am forgetting sooo many..Donar!...) But I fondly remember Lisa. She is my fave absent character. Close second Donar. The rest come back and remember us the cool you really are. 2. Fave storyline ever (written by you): uummm…I liked Night Nurse by Yo..or scary stories of Ruth (I continued them in Spanish and scared myself big time..). I liked the occasional silly short post by Yo or Round Robin…I normally hate my long ones. 3. Fave storyline ever (written by your friendly next door poster…ummm..not you, another poster) ): Why can not I choose more than one??? Ok, my fave right now (tomorrow I can remember others) is Visi Bowling story (get *arama whatever* was called if you know what I mean..we even won a prize)). I don´t get tired of reading it…between many other wonderful stories by all posters,I remember that one right now. But seriously, the great thing here is that everybody wrote *at least one* really great story at some point… 4. Fave secondary character I like rabito(Yo´s bunny)…but I´m not too big on secondary characters..I prefer real posters 5. Your fave comic book being published right now (month less month more) Only reading Young avengers right now, especially Children Crusade. And I like it pretty much 6. Fave published comic character: Still the Scarlet Witch, Vision the second…and Wiccan is getting close (the whole pack..) 7. Are you happy right now?. What are you going to do to improve the situation if the answer is not (too gossipy…?) Pretty happy (with ups and downs daily of course). With the years, I try to be less volatile and more patient, and that helps. And going to swim/gym/etc helps to deal with stress (my main foe in live) 8. Say something that you always wanted to, but no body care to listen. I always say what I want…and that is not really a virtue always let me tell you. I am trying to learn the art of listening (failing all the tests tho) 9. You are free to make you own quiz if this one sucks No, thank you, one is enough.. Good night you all >bless you

Quote: 1. Fave main parodyverse character (not because she/he is hot…other attributes would be Appreciated…extra points if you give some explanation why)It's a tie between the Hooded Hood and Hatman. The former is a wonderfully meta archvillain archetype, and the latter is the pluperfect superhero with a great set of powers. Quote: 2. Fave storyline ever (written by you)Though it didn't go exactly as planned, I'll say "Strong Suit". Quote: 3. Fave storyline ever (written by your friendly next door poster…ummm..not you..., another poster)Another very tough one. Candidates include "Heart of Darkness" by Visionary, Dancer, and HH, the Untold Tales epics "The Lair Legion World Tour" and "Against the Hellraisers" both written by Ian, and Dancer's "Far Away", but I'm going to go with "Follies of Youth", written by pretty much everyone who was a member of the board at the time. Quote: 4. Fave secondary character (remember, Visionary, CZFB and MangaSh. ARE main oneS by Brussels convention and American fake rights –probably- too)Hallie. Quote: 5. anime.mangacool.net (10.0.255.1) using Apple Safari 5.1.2 on MacOS X (0.11 points) Quote: 1. Fave main parodyverse character (not because she/he is hot…other attributes would be Appreciated…extra points if you give some explanation why)The Hooded Hood. But not the reason you think - it's because I believe he could destroy the Parodyverse (he is an arch-villain after all) but there's some reason rooted deep in his psyche that he doesn't. It's intriguing to speculate on that. Quote: 2. Fave storyline ever (written by you)Funny thing about that, I usually don't like or read stuff I've written after I've posted it. But if I had to choose, I'm going to choose two: One is the "alternate (fill in the character name)" series I did a while back, which was both fun and introduced Faite, who stuck around afterward. Another isn't PVB related, really - it was an alternate Batgirl fanfic I did long ago. She was a lot like the DC version of Cassandra Cain, except unapologetically much more violent. A weird cross between some of the darker anime/manga I've seen set in darker Gotham City. It's the only thing I think about writing again, in another form. Quote: 3. Fave storyline ever (written by your friendly next door poster…ummm..not you..., another poster)I vaccum up just about anything that's posted here, seriously. I'm that desperate for *real* entertainment after putting up with some of the stories put out by comic companies these days. Quote: 4. Fave secondary character (remember, Visionary, CZFB and MangaSh. ARE main oneS by Brussels convention and American fake rights –probably- too)Anna. She's not very high profile, and yes she is my character, but I like her because she's currently mysterious and undefinable. Quote: 5. Your fave comic book being published right now (month less month more)Without a doubt I would have to say Empowered. It's more of a yearly trade paperback, but it's the best. Quote: 6. Fave published comic book character Elissa Megan Powers. If you don't know who that is, look above one question. Quote: 7. Are you happy right now?. What are you going to do to improve the situation if the answer is not (too gossipy…? ignore it)You know how people say money can't buy happiness? Well it can if you're happy except for a lack of money. Quote: 8. Say something that you always wanted to, but no body cared to listen Nobody listens to much of what I say, but I usually say it anyhow. Quote: 9. What I like best is seeing the different takes posters have put on other people's characters. >> That is always great, when another poster write about another poster character and giive it his own touch Quote: 2. Fave storyline ever (written by you) My favourite story is always the one I'm going to write soon as the present one's finished, i.e. when it's still images and ideas unencumbered by the need for actual effort. >>sounds like a pro writter to me. Myself is more about putting different words/ideas into a paper and later noticing that they make kind of a -pretty weird-sense. I wish I knew the end when I am wrritting them tho Quote: 3. Fave storyline ever (written by your friendly next door poster…ummm..not you..., another poster) Gosh. I'm going to have to go away and think about that one. >>tought right? Quote: 4. Fave secondary character (remember, Visionary, CZFB and MangaSh. ARE main oneS by Brussels convention and American fake rights –probably- too) Flapjack. >> I love it. At the end I am realizing I like secondaries more than I thought Quote: 5. Your fave comic book being published right now (month less month more) I am way out of touch. With nowhere in town to buy, much less Byrne-steal, I'm mostly limited to whichever TPBs eventually arrive in the public library. I'm quite enjoying Blackest Night, and I understand Marvel is gearing up for some sort of Civil War... >>No one town?.wow. Normally I get them by internet tho Quote: 6. Fave published comic book character Gaston LaGaffe. Or possibly Lobo. I'd certainly make a special trip to buy that crossover. >>ok Quote: 7. Are you happy right now?. What are you going to do to improve the situation if the answer is not (too gossipy…? ignore it) Yeah, could be worse. >>one friend of mine once said, that the best part of a crappy situation is that it can always be far worse... Quote: 8. Say something that you always wanted to, but no body cared to listen Now could I drink hot blood, and do such bitter business as the day would quake to look on. It's amazing, the number of everyday situations in which I can't chuck that one out. >>Ummm, but it would make kind of an impact... Quote: 9. You are free to make you own quiz if this one sucks That won't be necessary, I enjoyed this one very much. >>You are too kind. By the way, Nice to meet you. I think we didn´t know each other yet?-Let me know it if I am wrong, but are you a new poster? or old now, seing I have been pretty absent these last years.. thabks for playing

1.) Mr. Epitome, from back in the day. Liked the commentary on Captain America's Ultimate self. 2.) Not sure, all of them are riddled with flaws from my current perspective. 3.) Not sure of the name, but I really liked a story about the AI Hallie being human and contemplating the new experience. 4.) Rape Ape, simply for the horrific name. 5.) The current Wolverine and the X-Men series. 6.) Solid Snake has received comic adaptations, so he qualifies. 7.) I'm more or less okay, but I want more people to read my comics www.therubynation.com 8.) A world run by cats would be a true utopia. www.rubysworldcomic.com

1.) Mr. Epitome, from back in the day. Liked the commentary on Captain America's Ultimate self. >>Wow, people on this board like their heroes to be real heroes. An then, you like Wolverine. Nice mix. 2.) Not sure, all of them are riddled with flaws from my current perspective. >>We tend to be extra critics with our own stuff...but I guess the important thing is if other people enjoyed reading them. Then we successed . 3.) Not sure of the name, but I really liked a story about the AI Hallie being human and contemplating the new experience. >>Not sure if it was a RR or an Adam´s story. But I remember that I enjoyed it lots too. 4.) Rape Ape, simply for the horrific name. >>ha, a Parodyverse golden age villian. Don´t remember the author tho. Finny?, Jarvis? CoS? 5.) The current Wolverine and the X-Men series. >>Team X-men then 6.) Solid Snake has received comic adaptations, so he qualifies. >>ok, new to me. 7.) I'm more or less okay, but I want more people to read my comics www.therubynation.com >> I visited your page if that counts. And more or less ok, is doing great in my book 8.) Quote: 1. Fave main parodyverse character (not because she/he is hot…other attributes would be Appreciated…extra points if you give some explanation why) Hmmm... at the moment, it's likely a toss-up between Donar and Dancer. Both I think are perfectly balanced for Parodyverse stories, full of fun personality quirks, amusing habits, useful powers, and personalities that make you want to read more and more adventures with them. Donar has all of the zany Ausgard stuff to play with, and Dancer has the secret identity and Bean and Donut backdrop for stories. They're both such fun characters. Quote: 2. Fave storyline ever (written by you)I'm not sure... it's been a while since I've read them. Some of my better, later stories were done along with Ian or Dancer or the entire board too, so saying what is the favorite written by me is tougher. My earlier stories were more fun, but the later stuff is better written. There were a few Hallie-centric stories that I wrote that I thought came out stronger than my usual stuff, so if it's a storyline in general rather than a specific story, I'll go with her stuff. I liked the one that focused on her role in the Parody War as told through interviews, and the one that was framed by a radio call-in show discussing Robosapien rights. For a specific story though, I'll pick "Hallie and the Clockwork Movement" as it was more of a self-contained story (about Hallie and former sexbot Tandi attending an underground robot rights rally) that had some meat to it but also threw in the kind of silly gags that a proper Parodyverse story needs, in my opinion. Quote: 3. Fave storyline ever (written by your friendly next door poster…ummm..not you..., another poster)I was involved in it, but only for a fraction of it, so I'll say the "Follies of Youth" round robin. That was fun. So was the Moderator saga that followed it up. Quote: 4. Fave secondary character (remember, Visionary, CZFB and MangaSh. ARE main oneS by Brussels convention and American fake rights –probably- too)I think I have to give this to Fleabot... he easily wins best supporting actor in my stories. Without him, Visionary stories would probably all be boring. Quote: 5. Your fave comic book being published right now (month less month more)Well, the only comic I read at all any more seems to be Fables, when new trade paperbacks collecting it come out. So I guess that would be it. It's sad that I don't read comics any longer, as I truly did love them. Quote: 6. Fave published comic book character I'll stick with the Vision, especially within the first 100 or so issues he appeared in. As a character, he was gradually eroded away until he was a bland shell of his former self, but if it weren't for those earlier issues I would never have become an Avengers fan and therefor never met any of you fine folk. So I owe the guy. Quote: 7. Are you happy right now?. What are you going to do to improve the situation if the answer is not (too gossipy…? ignore it)I'm not terribly happy right now, but I'm not as unhappy as I used to be so I figure I must be on the right track in a general sense. I turn 40 in a few months. If I could figure out a way to avoid that (well, you know, aside from the sure-fire, rather final way) then that would probably improve the situation. So far my calculations haven't yielded results. Quote: 8. Say something that you always wanted to, but no body cared to listen Every now and then I say something about those damn ponies that nobody wants to hear, so I've probably got that covered already. They used to do a regular Dancer/Donar team up series, back in the day. I think all of the issues are on the "Dancer's Diner" webpage under the links menu. >>Now that you mention it, I do remember. Probably it has been done, but a thematyc week could be to post stories from others poster you loved when you read it . I mean, post stories that you loved but not from ourselves. (. If they come with the authorship I don´t think the other posters would complain...I think many can still be on line In my defense, I think De Brown Streak created the sexbot character, and Ian made her a recurring cast member. I was just being neighborly by including her in a story. I'm a pretty sweet guy that way. >>"You keep saying yourself that. Ah, to be young and goofy again... >>Como on, you are still young (40!) and defenitely there is goofy in your character, secondaries that you like to use and stories...I mean your best friend is a flea...But is true, the enthusiastic explosion that the board suffer back then was amazing. Like all begining >Visionary by himself is likely a story about monitor duty, and nobody wants to read that. No way, the best stories began with Visi doing monitor duty, but he managed to make a mess from this point forward. I insist he is a great character. I gather there's a big storyline coming this summer or something that centers around Ultron and features the Vision. I saw some preview art of Vizh surrounded by scores of variations of himself. Still don't know if it's supposed to be "old" Vision or the Young Avengers Vision. >> Probably the old one, once he is back. How many issues are left on that Children's Crusade thing anyway? >>Just one. SPOILER Basicly the life force was the one responsible for Wanda crazines. I like to think, is not about mental control, but too much power for her. And DD could be the one to blame for the whole situation..Lets see the conclusion in the last one. By the way, No wanda-Visionn interaction yet, but again not too much quite conversation time yet. I'm due to go visit Lisa and Christopher for his 12th birthday, for instance. >> I find amazing how many of you even know each other. Clear prove this is a a great board. And 12! That really makes me feel old too.. Send them our love. The sad thing is that I feel like I should have substantially changed, mentally, from when I was in my late 20's... and I don't think I have. I feel like the same guy. Just... old now. How did that happen? >>I think that is common thing for everybody , the feeling the mind keeps young but the body dosen´t colaborate...(at least, other friends of mine say the same). I guess when 80 I will be the same unmature thing than when 20..And it happened (getting old) when we were living our lives, working, being with the famiy, writting stories, having fun...Just let go from the feeling you are old (more in your mind than real), and keep living. I blame the sociaty that because is afraid of the death, make it sound like a sickness to get over 40...and in some countries is simply a blessing because many die so young... Dammit, that got really serious an probably yours was a light comment... It's become my anchor to the next generation. My little cousin is the whole reason I saw the show in the first place. My nephew requested that we watch every single episode that we had on DVR or On Demand while he was visiting for Christmas, and now Christopher is into it too for all of the crazy online things that revolve around it (plus all of the crossover between fans of Valve video-games). So I get to be the hip uncle. I'll take what I can get at this point. >>Just making fun of you. After seeing the ponies pics, this fixation cannot be wrong..;) And I learned what a "Gormitty" is (dom´t know if you have them in US, probably)and even had to say wich one is the cutest (aren´t all of them the ugliest thing) to my best friend 3 gorgeous kids (I´m the godmother of the little one) Have a fun and safe time abroad next week! >>At leat I will have to speak english (going to a course in Brussels)...living in Spain for nearly 6 years now my english suck... I might have been combining some things in my mind, or there might be a similar cover (or interior art) that has the Vision at the center of a similar onslaught, but here is the cover for March's "Secret Avengers #24" showing an army of Visions and Jocastas: SECRET AVENGERS #24 RICK REMENDER (W) • GABRIEL HARDMAN (A) Cover by ARTHUR ADAMS • Hawkeye’s Leadership Put To The Ultimate Test After An Avenger Dies! • The Secret Avengers Trapped In An Automaton City In The Center Of The Earth! • Father And His Descendants Begin Their Plans To Spread Contagious Robot Evolution! • A New Avenger Joins To Save Our Wayward Squad, But Will He Get There In Time? 32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99 I have no idea if Vizh is on the team before this, or if he's perhaps the "New Avenger joins", but either way he's on the cover of Secret Avengers issue #26, looking very much like his classic self: March also has listed this one: AVENGERS #24.1 BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS (W) • BRANDON PETERSON (A) Cover by STEVE McNIVEN • One Of The Greatest Avengers Of All Time, Vision, Has Been Out Of Circulation For Years. Now That He’s Returned, He Has To Make Good On Promises He Made…! • The Prelude To The Avengers Event Of The Summer! I recall reading that the last big storyline Bendis is doing before he leaves the Avengers is some kind of Ultron war, due this summer.
