http://us.akinator.com/ It's a guessing game where a cartoon genie tries to come up with the character you're thinking of through yes or no questions. It took him a while to come up with The Vision (and he wrongly guessed Martian Manhunter first, the bastard) but he shocked me with how quickly he figured out Maria Von Trapp. I didn't even think we were close and he suddenly busted out "Is she from Austria?"

This guy is pretty good, he even got The Cheese Man from that one episode of Buffy. But he didn't guess OMAC, though he went for Flex Mentallo, so he understands me pretty well as a person.

Subject: It is impressive how quickly it can narrow down the options, and how many obscure characters players have taught it. [Re: Nats] Posted Wed Nov 16, 2011 at 12:39:44 pm EST (Viewed 497 times) |

Subject: Interesting. It eventually guessed Orinoco (womble), and failed to guess Masklin (Nome), although ironically it did know of it. [Re: Visionary] Posted Sat Nov 19, 2011 at 10:16:10 am EST (Viewed 527 times) |

Subject: I have to admit, I never would have guessed those. I doubt I could even pronounce them. [Re: Manga Shoggoth] Posted Sun Nov 20, 2011 at 06:21:41 pm EST (Viewed 478 times) |

Subject: Well, I grew up on the Wombles; and Masklin is from the work of Terry Pratchett (the books Truckers, Diggers and Wings to be precise) [Re: Visionary] Posted Tue Nov 22, 2011 at 03:05:53 pm EST (Viewed 477 times) |
