I had a couple of hours to kill while waiting on a new assignment, so I thought I'd do a bit of sketching for the board. No spiders this time, but maybe soon if my work contacts don't come through with something.

Anyway, I had some dialog in mind, but then I figured I'd go the board-participation route and have people offer the dialog/captions for this one. I'll do a version with each submission added in speech bubbles afterwards, provided I have the time.

Or, hell... write a story. We still do those around here from time to time.

Manga Shaggoth wrote a whole, fun little scene... be sure to check it out in the thread below at: http://www.mangacool.net/app/show.php?rpy=parodyverse-2011090319485654&layout=visual

Also, see Al B's caption contribution!

Fleabot: "Come on! It's been an hour!"
Hallie: "The bet was three hours brushing my Ponies if Vish didn't notice the bananna stains on his coat. I won, you lost. Keep brushing!"

Fleabot: My little ponies.

Hallie: And you're combing their...?

Fleabot: I don't see why you're making a thing of this.

Fleabot sighed.

(Comb... Stroke...)

Living with Visionary had many benefits, to be sure, but it occasionally had its downsides.

(Comb... Stroke...)

He didn't mind babysitting Magweed. She was a nice girl, and had been through far, far too much in a short life. He could put up with the Mouse Guard. He could put up with the occasional outbreak of sprites. He could even put up with seeing Lisa's Cat get stuck on the wrong end of this "Friends with all small creatures" malarky. Especially if he could take pictures.

(Comb... Stroke... Clean brush with antennae...)

But occasionally things were more difficult. Taking a Fairy Princess (and her protesting brother, who spent the entire film invisible out of embarassment) to the cinema, fine.

(Comb... Stroke... Snag... Whinny from horse...)

"Sorry..." he mumbled.

"It's OK." replied the pink horse. "You are still the best thing to happen to my tail in ages..."

The mauve unicorn snorted derisively. "The robot's only doing it to curry favour with our creator." it snorted.

Fleabot didn't comment. Anyone who spent time around the Manga Shoggoth learned to ignore puns, and He instinctively felt that innuendo aimed at a unicorn would end badly.

Looking after a Fairy Princess who has come down with a fever and a mild case of hallucinations, less so.

(Comb... Stroke...)

Dealing with the results of the hallucinations (this is a Fairy Princess we are talking about), No. This was not fun at all.

"There you are, All straight. I mean, Curled." he said, picking the last of the hairs out of the comb. There was a chance he could claim they were from one of Yo's bunnies.

At least there were no cameras around. He would weather this embarrassment and...

" Why, Fleabot! "

They do lend themselves to those videos quite well. And the casting isn't bad at all... Rorschach was always supposed to be short anyways.

Heh... that was a fun bit! You should down more of that stuff. Just hide your car keys first.

notes that CSFB! may have been swallowed whole by it some time ago, however.

(And the driving isn't a problem. Sharon tends to do the short-range driving).
